CAPS Activists – A Voice for PLWH in the Church

CARITAS Northampton enabled access to their store of household furniture and home items. CARITAS Director, Deacon Jim Hannigan liaised with Abigail Chakanyuka so that members in need of furnishings received help they could not otherwise afford. Deacon Jim went the extra mile, delivering tables and chairs, a microwave, fridge & a washing machine, bedroom furniture and bedlinen, all the way from their store in Northampton to 3 families in London! As we go to press a fourth family of four, have just received the keys to a 3-bed home after years living in temporary accommodation. This service will help them to make their new house a place that feels like home. Many thanks to Deacon Jim and the team at CARITAS Northampton!
