CAPS Trustee Adela Senkubuge Receives Prestigious Award

CAPS Activists – A Catholic Voice in the HIV Sector

Adela first attended a PositiveFaith retreat in 2009. Inspired, Adela founded CAPS’ PositiveFaith Manchester group. She was later employed by Manchester HIV agency the George House Trust (GHT). This year Adela was honoured with the Women & Health Award by Manchester City Council. Her commendation includes: “For front-line work with PLWH… A Trustee of CAPS… a network of Christians… dedicated to HIV prevention & support… & founder of PositiveFaith Manchester… This award celebrates pioneering women who have made remarkable contributions to the city.” We thank Adela for all she gives and continues to give!
