As a Christian community led by PLWH our POSITIVE FAITH ministry is unique – not only in this country but in the world This is by far the most distinctive fact about CAPS. As a response to the various critical social issues that HIV combines it is the expression of our faith that marks us out as both innovative & compassionate. We provide a unique response within an HIV sector that understands HIV but fails to understand Christian faith.

Over three years CAPS has enabled est. 120 PLWH to attend a Positive Faith Retreat weekend We provided 6 Positive Faith retreat weekends & our members attended a further 6 Community of the Passion Retreat weekends.

At retreat weekends & monthly peer support groups members pray with scripture and celebrate the sacraments. Our members reflect upon their own experiences through the lens of the Passion. Light comes through as we contemplate the Passion of Jesus as the most overwhelming sign of God’s love.
