To be a voice for Christian PLWH in the HIV sector

CAPS is the only remaining national Christian HIV Charity in this country.

Our members are a Christian voice for PLWH in the HIV sector & influence policy at local and national governmental levels.

We have successfully advocated for the importance of Peer-Support especially for those most marginalised & disadvantaged.

We promote Faith as helpful & speak up for the needs of PLWH who have Christian faith.   We provide training for HIV sector staff and clinicians to assist them to understand the needs of PLWH with faith.

Our volunteers attend HIV Conferences & participate in network meetings. Including The British HIV Assoc. Conferences & The CHIVA Children & families HIV Charity Conference. We have contributed to the Fast Track Cities HIV strategy for London.

CAPS is the leader in the field of Christian faith-based responses to HIV, in the UK.

2023. London Local Government consultation of Positive Faith members. We secured increased funding in London for Peer support that addresses the needs of Christian PLWH. That Faith-sensitive HIV peer support is funded by Government agencies is only due to CAPS persistent Advocacy .
